We enjoyed our stay at The Old Powder House Inn. From making the reservation to check-out, everything went smoothly. The word hospitality comes to mind when thinking about our experience. Communication from the owner and others was clear and helpful. The young lady who served breakfast was exceptionally courteous. Parking is at a premium in St. Augustine during the holiday season. We were provided with included, off-street parking during our stay. The location cannot be beat.We stayed upstairs in the Serenity room with a king bed. The room was spacious enough. The street noise level died down after about midnight. I have already recommended The Old Powder House Inn to two of my fellow co-workers who expressed interest in visiting St. Augustine. We would stay at The Old Powder House again.

Wonderful place to stay. We were greeted by a very sweet young lady who was very thorough in explaining details about the place. Owner accommodates any special dietary restrictions and the breakfast is great. She made us gluten free pancakes and majority of food was all organic. Relaxing pace and B and B is far enough away for noise but close enough for walking into St. Augustine center. We had a great experience at powder house inn. They have great attention to detail everything from bath rugs in the morning when you come off the bed, soaps, bath robes and comfortable beds. The dining experience was wonderful The food was great 5 star. Even my friend who is. Gluten intolerance got a special meal just for her.! There was soda and water, snacks, and chips that were free to get at your convenience overall I would definitely stay here again Testimonial written by Nov 20/25 on this site.
